The researchers began conducting experiments on mice. The results showed that the theory of inhibiting cancer cell growth through low temperatures applies to several types of cancer, including colorectal cancer, fibrosarcoma, breast cancer, melanoma, pancreatic cancer, etc.

In addition, researchers have also conducted a mild low-temperature treatment on a cancer patient. The patient was exposed to a mild cold environment at 22 degrees Celsius for 7 days. The result showed that the brown adipose tissue in this cancer patient was also activated under low temperatures, successfully competing for glucose with cancer cells.

This suggests that lowering the environmental temperature may have potential anticancer effects in humans as well. The researchers even believe that this cold-triggered anticancer method may be equally effective as most anticancer drugs.
